Springtime in Regents Park

We took a walk through this beautiful park today.  This park is always stunning but especially so in the spring!!!  This is a picture tour of our walk.

The land of Regents Park was appropriated by Henry VIII in the 16th century.  The park covers almost 400 acres.  It was opened to the public in 1835 but only for 2 days a week.

Everything is in bloom!!!

A sweet spot to enjoy a cuppa...

Gorgeous perennial borders...

This is gate that leads to a path that draws you in to some secluded garden rooms...Have I mentioned that I want these gardeners!!

We had this to ourselves!  Great spot for a picnic!

We ran into a Nigerian wedding celebration!

And all too soon it was all over.  George V is bidding us adieu.  Wonderful day!  On to Marylebone for lunch!
